ഉറാന്‍ഷ്യ പുസ്തകം: ഒരു ജീവിത കാലത്ത് വായിച്ചിരിക്കേണ്ട ഒന്ന് !

ഭൂമിയിലെ ഭൂരിഭാഗം ജനങ്ങളും ദൈവത്തില്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവരാണ് എന്നാണു എന്‍റെ ഒരു കണ്ടെത്തല്‍. അല്‍പ സ്വല്‍പ്പം ശാസ്ത്ര പഠനം നടത്തിയ അപൂര്‍വം ചിലര്‍ ദൈവം ഇല്ല എന്ന് ഒരു വാദഗതി മുമ്പോട്ടു വച്ചു അത് തെളിയിക്കാന്‍ ചില പണിപ്പെടലുകള്‍ അവിടവിടെയായി ചെയ്തു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും അവര്‍ക്കു പോലും അതില്‍ വലിയ കഴമ്പില്ല എന്നു ഉള്ളിന്‍റെ ഉള്ളില്‍ തോന്നുന്നുണ്ടായിരിക്കണം.

മണ്ണില്‍ പിറന്നു വീണ മനുഷ്യന്‍ തന്നെ ആരും ജനിപ്പിച്ചതല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ അവന്‍റെ മാതാപിതാക്കളും മറ്റുള്ളവരും അത് വെറുതെ കണ്ണടച്ചു വിശ്വസിക്കുമോ?

ദൈവത്തെ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യര്‍ ആരും തന്നെ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല എന്നത് ഒരു വാസ്തവം. എന്നാല്‍ കാണുന്ന കാര്യമേ യഥാര്‍ഥമായിട്ടുള്ളൂ എന്നു ഉറപ്പിച്ചു പറയാന്‍ പറ്റില്ലല്ലോ.

കാണാത്ത ഒരു വാസ്തവികത ആണ് ദൈവം. ആ യാഥാര്‍ദ്ധ്യം മനുഷ്യ വര്‍ണ്ണനയ്ക്ക് അതീതം ആയിരിക്കും. കണ്ണുപൊട്ടന് നിറങ്ങള്‍ മനസ്സിലാക്കി കൊടുക്കാന്‍ അസാധാരണ പ്രയഗ്നം തന്നെ വേണം.

കാലാ കാലങ്ങളായി മനുഷ്യന് ദൈവത്തെ പറ്റി പല വിവരങ്ങളും കിട്ടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നാല്‍ അതൊക്കെ അത്യധികം അപൂര്‍ണ്ണ വിവരങ്ങള്‍ മാത്രം.

മനസ്സിലാക്കാന്‍ പറ്റാത്ത അനന്ത ശക്തിയായ ദൈവത്തെ തങ്ങള്‍ക്കു മനസ്സിലാകും വിധം ചിത്രീകരിക്കാന്‍ മനുഷ്യ മനസ്സുകള്‍ തുനിയുന്നതിന് അവരെ കുറ്റം പറയാന്‍ പറ്റില്ല.

അങ്ങനെ വന്നപ്പോള്‍ എല്ലാവര്ക്കും അവരവരുടേതായ ദൈവങ്ങള്‍  ആയി. ഇവ്വിധമുള്ള ചിന്താഗതികളെ പരിപോഷിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തരത്തില്‍ തങ്ങളുടേതായ മതങ്ങളെ മനുഷ്യര്‍ രൂപപ്പെടുത്തി എടുത്തു.

വീടും, കുടുമ്പവും, വസ്തുവകകളും, രാജ്യങ്ങളും സ്വന്തമെന്നു കരുതാന്‍ വെമ്പുന്ന മനുഷ്യര്‍ തങ്ങള്‍ക്കു പറ്റിയ രീതിയില്‍ സ്വന്തമായി ദൈവങ്ങളെയും മതങ്ങളെയും സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു. സ്വന്തമായതിനെ സംരക്ഷിക്കാന്‍ മനുഷ്യര്‍ മല്ലടിച്ചു തമ്മില്‍ തല്ലുകയും കൊല്ലുകയും ഒക്കെ ചെയ്തു പോരുന്നു.

മാനസിക വികാസം പ്രാപിച്ചവരും അല്ലാത്തവരും തമ്മില്‍ ഈയൊരു കാര്യത്തില്‍ വലിയ വ്യത്യാസം ഒന്നും കാണുന്നില്ല, ഇതുവരെ.

മനുഷ്യനെ രൂപപ്പെടുത്തിയെടുത്ത ദൈവം മനുഷ്യന്‍റെ ഇവ്വിധമുള്ള കോപ്രായങ്ങളില്‍ എന്തു കരുതുന്നു എന്നു നമുക്ക് അറിയില്ലല്ലോ. ദൈവം സ്നേഹവാനെന്നു പരക്കെ അംഗീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതിനാല്‍ ഈ വക സംഗതികളില്‍ ദൈവം ദുഖിക്കുന്നു എന്നു കരുതണം.

അതുമൂലമാകണം ആധുനിക മനുഷ്യന് തന്നെ തന്നെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി കൊടുക്കാന്‍ ദൈവം നേരിട്ട് ഒരു ഉദ്യമം ഇപ്പോള്‍ നടത്തിയത്.

തന്നെ പറ്റിയുള്ള കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ പറയാന്‍ ഇക്കുറി മനുഷ്യരെ മാധ്യമം ആക്കേണ്ടതില്ല എന്നു ദൈവിക തീരുമാനം വരാന്‍ അതായിരിക്കണം കാരണം.

അങ്ങനെ ഇരുപതാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടില്‍ ദൈവം മനുഷ്യര്‍ക്ക്‌ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയ കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ ആണ് ഉറാന്‍ഷ്യ പുസ്തകത്തിന്‍റെ [The Urantia Book] ഉള്ളടക്കം.

ദൈവം നേരിട്ട് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയ കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ ആണെങ്കിലും അത് ദൈവം തന്നെ ചെയ്തു എന്ന് കരുതരുത്‌. ദൈവത്തിന്‍റെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ ദൈവിക നിയമങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അനുസരണം ആണ് നടക്കുന്നത്. ഇവിടെ ഈ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തലുകള്‍[Revelations] മനുഷ്യര്‍ക്ക്‌ നല്‍കാന്‍ ദൈവം പല ശ്രേണികളില്‍ പെട്ട ദൈവിക വ്യക്തികളെ [ divine personalities] ഏര്‍പ്പെടുത്തി എന്നു മാത്രം.

അധിക വികാസം പ്രാപിച്ച മനുഷ്യ ഭാഷയായ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ഈ കാര്യത്തിനു ഈ അദൃശ്യ വ്യക്തികള്‍ ഉപയോഗപ്പെടുത്തി. പുസ്തക രൂപത്തില്‍ അത് പ്രകാശനം ചെയ്യാന്‍ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത ഒരു കൂട്ടം മനുഷ്യരെയും ചുമതലപ്പെടുത്തി. അതൊക്കെ എങ്ങനെ നടന്നു എന്നത് മനുഷ്യര്‍ക്ക്‌ അതിശയം തോന്നിക്കുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ ആയിരിക്കാംഎങ്കിലും ദൈവത്താല്‍ അസാദ്ധ്യം അല്ല തന്നെ.

ഒരു മുഖവുരയും നൂറ്റി തൊണ്ണൂറ്റി ആറു പ്രബന്ധങ്ങളും അടങ്ങിയ ഒരു മഹാ ഗ്രന്ഥം ആണ് ഈ പുസ്തകം. രണ്ടായിരത്തി ഇരുനൂറില്‍ പരം പേജുകള്‍. ബൈബിളിന്‍റെ ഇരട്ടി വലിപ്പം.

പറയുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങളെ സംബന്ധിച്ചു ആധികാരികമായി പറയാന്‍ അറിവുള്ളവരും എന്നാല്‍ മനുഷ്യ ഗണത്തില്‍ പെടാത്തവരും ആയ പ്രബന്ധ കര്‍ത്താക്കള്‍ അറിവില്‍ വികാസം പ്രാപിച്ചു വരുന്ന മനുഷ്യ വര്‍ഗത്തോട് പറയുന്ന രീതിയില്‍ ആണ് എല്ലാ പ്രബന്ധങ്ങളും എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.

ആയിരത്തി തൊള്ളായിരത്തി മുപ്പതുകളില്‍ പുസ്തകത്തിന്‍റെ പൂര്‍ണ്ണ രൂപം അദൃശ്യ ഗ്രന്ഥ കര്‍ത്താക്കള്‍ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത മനുഷ്യരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തെ അത് തെറ്റുകള്‍ ഒന്നും വരാതെ പ്രകാശനം ചെയ്യുവാന്‍ ഏല്‍പ്പിച്ചു എന്നാണു വിശ്വസനീയമായ അറിവ്. ഏതായാലും ഉറാന്‍ഷ്യ ബുക്കിന്‍റെ ഒന്നാമത്തെ എഡിഷന്‍ ആയിരത്തി തൊള്ളായിരത്തി അമ്പത്തഞ്ചില്‍ അമേരിക്കയിലെ ഷിക്കാഗോ നഗരത്തില്‍ വെളിച്ചം കണ്ടു.

ദൈവിക വെളിപ്പെടുത്തലുകളുടെ ഈ പുസ്തകം നാല് ഭാഗങ്ങളായി വിഭജിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

ഒന്നാം ഭാഗം മുഖവരയും മുപ്പത്തൊന്നു പ്രബന്ധങ്ങളും ദൈവത്തെയും ദൈവത്തോട് ഏറ്റവും അടുത്ത ദൈവിക ശക്തികളെയും അവരുടെ പ്രത്യേകതകളും നമുക്ക് വിവരിച്ചു തരുന്നു. ഈ പ്രബന്ധങ്ങള്‍ മനുഷ്യര്‍ക്ക്‌ ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഇപ്രകാരം നല്‍കപ്പെടാന്‍ ഉള്ള കാരണങ്ങളും വിവരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അതുപോലെ ദൈവിക ശക്തികളുടെ ആസ്ഥാനങ്ങളുടെ വിശേഷതകളും നമുക്ക് കാര്യമാത്ര പ്രസക്തമായി പറഞ്ഞു തരുന്നു. പ്രപഞ്ച ഭരണം ദൈവം എങ്ങനെ നടത്തുന്നു എന്നും ഈ ഭാഗം വിവരിക്കുന്നു.

ഇരുപത്തഞ്ചു പ്രബന്ധങ്ങള്‍ അടങ്ങിയ രണ്ടാം ഭാഗം പ്രാദേശിക പ്രപഞ്ചങ്ങളെ [Local Universes] പറ്റിയും പ്രത്യേകിച്ചു ഭൂമി ഉള്‍പ്പെട്ട നമ്മുടെ പ്രാദേശിക പ്രപഞ്ചത്തെയും പറ്റി  ഉള്ള വിവരണങ്ങള്‍ നല്‍കുന്നു. വികസനം ഇനിയും പൂര്‍ണ്ണമാകാത്ത നമ്മുടെ പ്രപഞ്ചത്തിന്‍റെ പ്രത്യേകതകള്‍ നമ്മളെ മനസ്സിലാക്കി തരുവാന്‍ അദൃശ്യ പ്രബന്ധ കര്‍ത്താക്കള്‍ ശ്രദ്ധ ചെലുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിലൊന്ന് ഒരു താഴേക്കിട ദൈവിക ഭരണാധികാരിയായിരുന്ന ലൂസിഫറിന്റെയും കൂട്ടാളികളുടെയും ഭരണ പാളിച്ചകള്‍ മൂലം ഭൂമിയിലും അതുപോലെ മറ്റുചില മര്‍ത്ത്യ ലോകങ്ങളിലും പറ്റിപ്പോയ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ചാണ്. പ്രാദേശിക പ്രപഞ്ച ഉപജ്ഞാതാവും പരമാധികാരിയും ആയ മിഖായെലുകള്‍ എന്ന ഉന്നത ദൈവപുത്രഗണത്തിന്റെ പ്രത്യേകതകള്‍ ഈ ഭാഗത്ത് വര്‍ണ്ണിക്കുന്നു. ഭൂമി ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ ഏകദേശം നാല് ദശ ലക്ഷം ലോകങ്ങള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്ന നമ്മുടെ പ്രാദേശിക പ്രപഞ്ചം നെബഡോണ്‍ [Nebadon] എന്ന പേരില്‍ അദൃശ്യ രചയിതാക്കള്‍ നമുക്ക് പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

നെബഡോണ്‍ പരമാധികാരിയായ ശ്രുഷ്ടി കര്‍ത്താവാണ് യേശു ക്രിസ്തു എന്ന പേരില്‍ രണ്ടായിരം വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കു മുമ്പ് പലസ്തീനില്‍ മാനുഷാവതാരം എടുത്ത ദൈവപുത്രന്‍. ഈ അവതാര ലക്‌ഷ്യം ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികള്‍ മനസ്സിലാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ദൈവകോപത്തിന് പരിഹാരമായ രക്തബലി ആയി തീരുവാന്‍ ആയിരുന്നില്ല എന്ന് മാത്രം. കാരണം ദൈവം കോപിഷ്ടനും പാപ പരിഹാര ബലി കാംക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ആളും അല്ല എന്നത് തന്നെ. ദൈവം സ്നേഹമാണ് എന്നത് പരമ സത്യം ആകുന്നു.

താന്‍ ശ്രിഷ്ടിച്ച ചില പ്രധാന ജീവ ശ്രേണികളുടെ ജീവിതം അനുഭവിക്കുക എന്നത് പരമാധികാരി ആകുന്നതിനു മുമ്പ്‌ അതിന്‍റെ ഉപജ്ഞാതാവായ ദൈവപുത്രന്‍ നടത്തിയിരിക്കണം എന്ന ഒരു ദൈവ നിയമം പാലിക്കാന്‍ ആണ് യേശുക്രിസ്തു മാനുഷ ജന്‍മം എടുത്തത്. ഇത് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ ഏഴാം അവതാരം ആയിരുന്നു. അതിനു മുമ്പ്‌ ഉള്ള അവതാരങ്ങള്‍ പക്ഷെ മാനുഷ രൂപങ്ങള്‍ ആയിരുന്നില്ല.

പുസ്തകത്തിന്‍റെ മൂന്നാം ഭാഗം ഭൂമിയുടെ ഉല്പത്തി മുതലുള്ള ചരിത്രം വിവരിക്കുന്നു. 57 മുതല്‍ 119  വരെയുള്ള പ്രബന്ധങ്ങള്‍ ഈ ഭാഗത്ത് ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഭൂമി എങ്ങനെ രൂപപ്പെട്ടു ? സസ്യ ജീവന്‍ എങ്ങനെ ഉളവായി ? സസ്യ ജീവനില്‍ നിന്ന് മറ്റു ജീവ ജാലങ്ങള്‍ എങ്ങനെ പരിണമിച്ചു ? ആദിമ മനുഷ്യന്‍ എങ്ങനെ പരിണമിച്ചു ? ഇതൊക്കെ ഇതു കാലഘട്ടങ്ങളില്‍ സംഭവിച്ചു എന്നൊക്കെ ഈ ഭാഗത്ത് പ്രദിപാദിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. പില്‍ക്കാലത്ത് ആദമും ഹവ്വയും ഭൂമിയില്‍ എത്തിപ്പെട്ടതിന്‍റെ കാരണം എന്നിവയൊക്കെ ഈ ഭാഗങ്ങളില്‍ വിശദമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

പല വായനക്കാരേയും ഏറ്റവും അധികം ആകര്‍ഷിക്കുന്നത് ഒരു പക്ഷെ ഈ പുസ്തകത്തിന്‍റെ നാലാം ഭാഗമാണ്. 120 മുതല്‍  196   വരെയുള്ള ഈ പ്രബന്ധങ്ങള്‍ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്‍റെ മനുഷ്യജീവിതവും ഉപദേശങ്ങളും വിശദമായി തുറന്നു കാട്ടുന്നു. മനുഷ്യ ചരിത്രത്തില്‍ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു പോയതും തെറ്റുകള്‍ കടന്നു കൂടിയതുമായ കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ ഒന്നുകൂടെ വിശദമായി ഇവിടെ അദൃശ്യ എഴുത്തുകാര്‍ നമുക്ക് എഴുതി തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. അനാവശ്യ ഊഹാപോഹങ്ങളും സങ്കല്‍പ കഥകളും ഒഴിവാക്കി യേശുവിന്‍റെ ജീവിത സന്ദേശം മനോഹരമായി ഈ ഭാഗത്ത് ചിത്രീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

ഈ പുസ്തകത്തിന്‍റെ പ്രദിപാദന രീതി ബുദ്ധിപരമായ ഔന്നത്യം വിളിച്ചോതുന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെയൊന്നു മനുഷ്യരാല്‍ സാദ്ധ്യമല്ല എന്ന് പല പണ്ഡിതരും അഭിപ്രായപ്പെടുന്നു. പില്‍ക്കാലങ്ങളില്‍ മനുഷ്യര്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയ പല ശാസ്ത്ര സത്യങ്ങള്‍ അവസരോചിതമായി പലഭാഗങ്ങളില്‍ പ്രദിപാദിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത് അത്ഭുതത്തോടെ മാത്രമേ ഒരു സൂക്ഷ്മ വായനക്കാരന് കാണാന്‍ കഴിയൂ.

Though this blog is primarily meant for Keralites who are conversant with their mother tongue Malayalam, I felt the need for providing a translation of the above in English for the benefit of those who cannot read Malayalam. The blog translation in English is given below:

The Urantia Book : Something One Ought to have Read in a Life Time !

One conclusion that I have made out [from general observation] is that the majority of people in the world believe in God. Perhaps some people here and there who have learnt science a bit might be toiling hard to prove the non-existence of God, deep in their minds they might be feeling the silliness of their arguments.

Will any one blindly believe the silly argument of an earth born human that he is not the product of creativity by someone ? His parents would be the first ones to ridicule that argument !

It is a fact that no one has ever seen God. But we cannot assert with surety  that only visible things are real !

God is a reality beyond our visibility. That reality should be beyond the descriptive capacity of man. It would be a herculian task to make a blind man understand colors !

Over the ages man has got various kinds of knowledge about God. But all those are incomplete and imperfect information.

No one can blame the humans for trying to describe the infinite and undescriptive God in the finite manner as understandable to their limited minds.

Such an effort caused humans to have their own convenient descriptions of God which then transformed in to their own gods. They eventually made their religions to support their imperfect concepts of God.

The possessive minds of men wanted to be possessive about their gods and religions just as they have been treating their homes, families, properties and countries. Men have been fighting and killing to safe guard their possessions !

There has been no difference between those of higher or lower mind capacities in this regard so far.

We do not know what God might be feeling in such ludicrous follies of human beings. As it is now mostly recognized about the love of God, it might be prudent to think that God might be viewing humans with Godly mercy and sympathy.

That could be the reason why the divine decision now attempted to directly reveal himself to modern man.

He has now decided not to make humans as a medium of revelatory knowledge about himself as he has been doing in the past ages.

In this manner what God has revealed to the human beings of the twentieth century is the content of the Urantia Book.

Though it is a knowledge revealed directly by God, do not be under the impression that God did all these revelation by himself. All acts of God happen in accordance with the perfect laws of God. In this case, God has perhaps entrusted numerous orders of divine personalities to fulfill the task accomplishing the revelations to modern man. That's all.

Those divine personalities used English for this purpose which happened to be the most advanced and widely understood human language of communication. They entrusted some selected human beings to carry out the task of printing and publishing this huge revelatory knowledge. It might be a mystery for us to know the details of all these transactions. But for God, nothing is impossible !

This book is a huge one containing a foreword and 196 subject papers. It has over 2200 pages. It is almost double the size of the Bible.

Super human personalities who are superior in knowledge describing things to humans of inferior knowledge, is the manner in which the suject papers are written.

It is authentically believed that the invisible super human authors of the Urantia Book subject papers had handed over the complete manuscript to the select human beings for typesetting, printing and publishing some time in the 1930's. Whatever be the case, the Urantia Book got first  published in the city of Chicago in 1955.

This divine revelatory book is divided in to four parts.

The first part contains the foreword and thirty one subject papers which introduces the details of God-the first source and centre of everything- and also the details of the higher hierarchy of divine powers that are closest to the first source. It explains the reasons why these revelations are now given to humans of earth now. Similarly, it explains in a matter-of-fact manner, the details of the original residential centres of the divine personalities closest to the universal father God. How God conducts the universe creations and their administration is also explained in this part.

The second part of the book containing 25 subject papers explains about the the details of what are described as local universes and more specifically about the details of the local universe to which our earth belongs. The invisible authors of the subject papers have taken special care in explaining to us the specialities of our local universe which is still in its development stage. One of the special thing that the authors tell us is regarding the administrative misadventures committed by one of the lower level divine rulers identified as Lucifer and his assistants and the consequent problems of that in certain number of mortal worlds including our earth. This part also gives the characteristics and details of the divine creators and sovereigns of the local universes introduced as Michaels- a higher order of divine sonship personalities. The authors reveal us the nature of the local universe named Nebadon presently containing nearly four million planets with mortal life including our earth.

The divine creator ruler of Nebadon (The Michael of Nebadon) took human form and was born on earth some two thousand years ago as Jesus Christ in Palestine. But this human incarnation of this universe creator and ruler was not for becoming a blood sacrifice for the sins of human kind as commonly understood  by Christians. Because God is not fuming with anger to be pleased only with such sacrifices. God is love is a supreme truth !

The purpose of the incarnation of Jesus Christ was to fulfill a universal law of God which mandates the divine creators of local universes to experience the life of all their basic life creations before they actually assume the sovereign ruler status of their local universes. The human incarnation of Michael of Nebadon as Jesus of Nazareth was his 7th and last incarnation. But the previous incarnations were not of mortal kind on mortal worlds.

The third part of the Urantia Book reveals the history of earth from its creation. It contains subject papers from 57 to 119. How earth was formed ? How plant life originated ? How did other life forms evolve from plant life ? How was human life evolved ? When did all these things happened? All these details are revealed in this part.  The reasons behind bringing Adam and Eve in a later era to earth are also explained in detail here.

Perhaps the most appealing part of this book to most readers is the fourth part. The papers 120 to 196 in the fourth part explains in detail the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Those historical facts which we now know partly and erroneously have been clarified authentically by the invisible non-human authors of these papers. Unnecessary myths and exagerations are all eliminated and the essence of the life and teachings of Jesus is depicted in the most matter of fact manner with utmost clarity.

The style of writing of this book reflects its high intellectual standard. Many human scholars believe that it is not humanly possible to write this kind of a work. A keen reader of the Urantia Book would get overwhelmed by the pieces of scientific or historical  truths that the authors told us which are getting varified as correct as we keep enhancing our scientific knowledge.

Malayalees who are comfortable with English should read this book. Life might become meaning ful and clear with reading and understanding of the Urantia Book. This I say from my experience.
